Plant: 12in (30.5cm) diameter; 4in (10.2cm) high; mound-like; fast growth rate

Leaf: 4.5in (11.4cm) long; 1.25in (3.2cm) wide; 4 to 5 vein pairs; yellow flat margins; dull on top; slightly shiny underneath; lance with tapered base; moderately corrugated and lightly flat

Scape: 10 to 15in (25.4 to 38.1cm) high; red and yellow

Scape Bracts:

Flower: 1.5in (3.8cm) long; pale purple, ; tubular; Wooster, OH; 8/10 - 8/17 - 8/25

Seed: sets viable seeds, red pods

Clump History: original seedling; 4 years old; Wooster, OH

Notable Characteristics: color change in old leaves; red flower scapes and seed pods; fast grower
