Plant: 30.3in (77.0cm) diameter; 14.98in (38.0cm) high; upright; moderate growth rate

Leaf: 10.24in (26.0cm) long; 5.3in (13.5cm) wide; 8 to 9 vein pairs; light green flat margins; dull on top; dull underneath; ovate with flat base; relatively flat overall.

Scape: 30.3 to 35in (77.0 to 88.9cm) high; reddish violet

Scape Bracts:

Flower: 2.56in (6.5cm) long; deep purple, buds begin pale purple-white inside, then 4-5 dark purple stripes inside on pale purple background, ; tubular; Ganderkesee, Germany; 7/1 - 8/15 - 9/10

Seed: sets viable seeds, light green pods

Clump History: original seedling; 5 years old; Ganderkesee, Germany

Notable Characteristics: Intense, big purple flowers. Ovate leaves with optimal correlation of length to width.
