Plant: 30in (76.2cm) diameter; 14in (35.6cm) high; mound-like; moderate growth rate

Leaf: 7in (17.8cm) long; 5.5in (14.0cm) wide; 11 vein pairs; intensely blue-green flat margins; glaucous bloom on top; glaucous bloom underneath; broadly ovate with cordate base; lightly folded, lightly corrugated

Scape: 24 to 26in (61.0 to 66.0cm) high; blue

Scape Bracts:

Flower: 1.75in (4.4cm) long; pale lavender, darker petal centers; tubular; Chapel Hill, NC; 7/10 - 7/20 - 8/1

Seed: sets viable seeds, green pods

Clump History: the original seedling; 5 years old; Chapel Hill, NC

Notable Characteristics: F2 cross of a very blue H. sieboldiana x H. longipes with heart shaped leaves.
